How to determine if your Operating System is a 64-bit Operating System
1. Click on your start Button
2. Click on [Control Panel]
3. You will see the Control Panel in one of two views. The Large or Small Icon view above or the Category view below. If you are viewing the Icon View above, click on [System]. If you are viewing the Category view below, click on [System and Security] and then Click on [System]
4. The window below contains basic information about your computer. The System Type will tell whether you have a 32-bit Operating System or a 64-bit Operating System.
