Each file is TAB delimited (a TAB character separates the ICD code and its description).
Each code has a single description - all on one single line.
Unlike our competitors, non-specific codes which are not of the highest specificity (non-billable) have been filtered out.

Descriptions have full meaning with context from non-specific codes carried down to the specific level (see 001.0)
Codes go through a complex multi-step verification process to assure accuracy of both the code and its description.
